Wage

• Wage is in-game compensation earned each week by every Bureaucrat, regardless of their participation level, and distributed by the Regents on behalf of the State according to the rules of the game.

• While additional wage cannot be purchased from the State, all holders are free to barter, trade, steal, beg for, borrow, lend, or otherwise participate in the secondary wage market as they choose and as is made possible by wage's status as an open-source, BRC-20 token. Everything is fair game.

• Each turn, every Bureaucrat will choose to use their upcoming wage distribution in one of four ways: (1) to build infrastructure (2) to spark conflict with another Bureaucrat (3) to hoard when enacting diplomacy, or (4) to spend on migration to another citystate In addition to these three in-game uses for upcoming wage distributions, players are free to amplify gameplay by using their existing wage stockpiles to negotiate treaties, form agreements, broker (or break) alliances, or implement any other desired acts of statecraft.
